Driving directions from west
Coming from west, the Westautobahn (A1), please follow the signs to the city centre (Zentrum). You pass Schoenbrunn Palace on your right hand side and you continue straight ahead until you reach the Guertel. Make a left (direction Prague) and keep on going straight ahead on the Guertel. After you have passed Westbahnhof (west train station) on your left, turn right into the next big street showing direction city centre, the Burggasse. At the fourth traffic light, turn left into Kirchengasse. Our house - Kirchengasse 41 - is the second on the left hand side, easy to find because of our grey canopy above the front door.
Driving directions from south
Coming from south, the Suedautobahn (A2), please follow the signs to the city centre, finally bringing you onto the Ringstrasse. Follow the Ringstrasse, pass by the State Opera on the right hand side onto Opernring and turn left at the next traffic light into Babenbergerstrasse. Go straight ahead on Babenbergerstrasse which automatically turns into Mariahilferstrasse, Vienna's biggest shopping street. After approx. 300 meters you will reach a church (on your left hand side), there you have to turn right into Kirchengasse. After the third traffic light you will find us on your left hand side - Kirchengasse 41 - we have a grey canopy above our front door.
Driving directions from east
Coming from east, the Ostautobahn (A4), please follow the signs to the city centre, leading you ultimately onto the Ringstrasse. Follow the Ringstrasse, pass by the State Opera on your right hand side onto Opernring and turn left at the next traffic light into Babenbergerstrasse. Go straight ahead on Babenbergerstrasse turning automatically into Mariahilferstrasse, Vienna's biggest shopping street. After 300 meters, you will reach a church on your left hand side, where you have to turn right into Kirchengasse. After the third traffic light you find us on the left hand side - Kirchengasse 41 - easy to find because of our grey canopy above the front door.
Arriving at Vienna International Airport Wien-Schwechat
We can organise a pick-up service from the airport for you. The rate is € 40,- per car (up to 4 people depending on luggage). It takes about 20 - 30 minutes to get to the Altstadt Vienna.
Please let us know your departure destination, your arrival date and time as well as your flight number.
You can also use public transport. Every 20 to 30 minutes there are buses, the train (S7) or the CAT (City Airport Train) leaving to the City Air Terminal Wien-Mitte. The rate is between € 6,- and 10,- per person and the duration between 16 (CAT) and 30 minutes. From Wien-Mitte please take the underground line U3 until Volkstheater. Take the exit Burggasse, make a left and follow Burggasse for about 5 to 7 minutes. After the second traffic light, turn right into Kirchengasse. Our hotel - Kirchengasse 41 - is easy to find because of the grey canopy above our front door.

Parking facilities
Just in front of the hotel there is a loading area where you can park your car if you do not find a parking lot in the street. Parking on the street is subject to a charge of â?¬ 10,- per day. You get the necessary tickets (in limited edition) at the front desk. We also rent parking lots in a garage which is a 5 minutes walk away from the hotel and cost â?¬ 20,- per night. These parking lots can be booked in advance.

Arriving at one of the train stations
Wien Meidling
At the station Wien Meidling you can take the underground line U6 from Philadelphiabrücke direction Floridsdorf. You get off at Burggasse/Stadthalle and take the exit Burggasse. From there you can take the bus 48A direction Dr. Karl-Renner-Ring until Neubaugasse/Burggasse. From there you walk in the same direction the bus is going for about 300 metres until the Burggasse crosses Kirchengasse. Turn left and you can already see the little grey roof above the Altstadt's entrance.
From Meidling station a taxi takes about 15 minutes and costs approx. € 12,-.
Wien Westbahnhof
From Westbahnhof you take the underground line U3 direction Simmering to Volkstheater. There you take the exit Burggasse, make a left and follow Burggasse for about 500 metres. You directly reach Kirchengasse, turn right and enter below the little grey roof saying Altstadt Vienna where we are happy to welcome you!
From the Westbahnhof a taxi takes about 5 minutes to the Altstadt Vienna and costs between € 6,- and € 8,-.
Wien Südbahnhof
This station is currently under reconstruction. Certain trains may be redirected to Wien Meidling or an other train station. Please check your ticket! If you arrive at Wien Südbahnhof, please take the Bus 13A direction Alserstraße/Skodagasse. After about 20 minutes you arrive at the stop Kellermanngasse. Head back into the direction the bus came from and you will immediately see the Altstadt Vienna's entrance on your right - marked by a grey canopy above the front door. Welcome!
