Schönbrunn Palace and the palace gardens - a must-see at any time of year to escape the big city.
Weingärten - take the D trolley to the Beethovengang stop and start walking (but best not at weekends). The small alleys & passages directly behind St. Stephen's Cathedral let you immerse yourself in old Vienna (Blutgasse, Grünangergasse, Ballgasse).
All of Vienna is so photogenic - every corner offers new perspectives. Just take a stroll and discover. The best view of St. Stephen's Cathedral is from the Lamee Rooftop Terrace.
