Word Rap on Vienna
Only in Vienna:
Heuriger wine taverns, Beisln and coffeehouses
Sea, beach and palm trees
Desserts after dinner. And nutella. Always.
Landtmann's apple strudel, bacio di dama from gelateria romana, nutella crèpes at the Altstadt Vienna.
A Viennese Schnitzel at restaurant "Wiener" close to the hotel. And the famous "Stelze" at the Schweizerhaus in Vienna's amusement parc, Prater.
Chic and vegetarian: TIAN; chic cocktails and views: Le Loft.
Photograph the beautifully lit State Opera and city hall
Not in any tourist guide:
The climbing park on the Kahlenberg! Lots of fun for big and small!
My Favorite Place:
Yppenplatz and Brunnenmarkt. Multi-ethnic communities.
The Ring Strasse
Giant Ferris wheel in the Prater
Something to skip, even if it's in the guide:
The Ring tram. Better to go on foot or ride your bike if you want to really enjoy the Ringstrasse.
To wrap it up, what do you love about Vienna?
The quality of life. And the perfect size and shape of the city. Even with 2 million inhabitats, you can cross the whole city in 30 minutes with public transportation.
