Word Rap about Vienna

Only in Vienna

After many years abroad, through the high quality of life, but also the overwhelming and diverse cultural offerings for all generations from classical to modern dance, Vienna has a precious and incomparable commodity in architecture and landmarked buildings.

Better elsewhere

Croissants - they taste best in Paris ;-)

Your Vice

Ice cream - I can't wait for the season to begin again, for example, at the Mauß in the 16th district or the Eis Greissler in Neubaugasse. I just can't get enough of that.

Sweet Vienna

Crème de la crème - a small, fine patisserie in family hands with enchanting pastries. If you don't want to go far, enjoy our homemade pastries in the Altstadt Salon with a hot cup of coffee or tea in the afternoon and surprise those who stayed at home with the Altstadt Torte.

Savory Vienna

The somewhat different restaurant "Woracziczky" (pronounced "Woraschitzky") with the best Austrian cuisine made from regional products. And be sure to watch the legendary videos of the boss and her followers on FB.
Restaurant Pichlmaiers zum Herkner offer Styrian family recipes as well as classics of Austrian cuisine such as cabbage sauce, goulash, Buchteln and much more.
For lovers of giblets/offal, the best recommendation is the Gasthaus Stern with its traditional design of the restaurant and bar.

Chic Vienna

It starts with a hearty breakfast in the Café Engländer. You can meet many journalists and artists there. For lunch I love the Buxbaum restaurant away from the hustle and bustle of the city center. In the evening, for a glass of champagne at the bar Le Cru.

When it's getting dark

Kleinod Prunkstück” - cocktail and dance bar or the “Summer stage,” which offers a culinary world-tour with a clear view of the water.

Not in any tourist guide

Viennese flea market scene - from the moonlight bazaar to the famous flea market on the Naschmarkt. If you like to browse old things and love vintage, you shouldn’t miss this.

My favourite spot:

I love the water and the France - the best combination can be found in the restaurant "La Creperie" on the old Danube. And if you feel like it, grab the “La Creperie” picnic basket and have a good time on a rowboat on the old Danube.

Can be missed, despite being found in tourists guides

A ride in the horse and buggy carriage. Preferable would be a walk through the beautiful city center with its hidden alleys and sights.

Finally: What do you love about Vienna?

What does one love about the city? The unique flair, the multicultural scene as well as the enormous range of art and culture with all its facets and the possibilities for leisure activities.
