Clear country air and fresh cold water
We've somehow always considered the Altstadt Vienna as a hide-away in the city. From the early days on we focused on deceleration, sustainability and the typical Viennese "Gemütlichkeit" rather than on cool thrill.
To import some of the idyllic ideas of the countryside we invited Susi Schellhorn of Hotel Seehof in Goldegg to redecorate a suite. Being a regular guest at the Altstadt Vienna and a host herself at the Seehof, Susi Schellhorn proved to be a good choice for interior design and style with a completely new look of Suite Nr. 29: The Seehof Suite.
A straight color code, lucid and clear interior with comfy sofas and fine fabrics make the guest feel at home in the spacious rooms right away. From the bed you see the lake in Goldegg, covered by a feathery color curtain, an artwork by German artist Degenhard Andrulat, who also decorated the living room. A scenery by Alfons Pressnitz and a deer head made of felt by Starke Beest complete the look.
"The atmosphere is most important to me. The guests should enjoy their stay. And feel like they never want to leave again" says Susi Schellhorn about her motivation.
Experience for yourself what it feels like to live between a felt deer, colorful strokes by Degenhard Andrulat and a Fritz Hansen Wing Chair.
