Be inspired by our 49 artistic interpretations of the Viennese way of life.

Since 1991 Weltenbummler and cosmopolitans have been welcomed at the Altstadt Vienna. Originally opened by founder Otto Ernst Wiesenthal as an art gallery with only 24 rooms, the house transformed over the years into a place where art no longer hung on the walls. Artists, architects and designers created 49 different, tangible works and manifestations of the Viennese way of life.
