What do you like about the area? Why are you in the 7th district?

The 7th district is casual, comfortable, a bit provincial, not too big, not too small, diverse, has nice people, beautiful old buildings, stunning backyards and lovely streets.

What can one buy in your store? What is your passion behind it?

Elefant & Castle loves what you eat!
We offer homemade curry, soups, sandwiches and sweets on a daily basis.

Only in Vienna

I received a call from a police man, after our shop window had been broken: "Your complaint has gone to Nirvana, so to speak, o to speak, until we find someone to take care of it."

Better somewhere else

The Viennese are not the friendliest folk, I guess that's better somewhere else.
