A Room for Dr. Albrecht. And one
of Vienna's oldest cinemas.
The quietest room with the most beautiful view over the roof gardens of Vienna gets its name from long-time regular guest and friend of the house Dr. Helmut Albrecht. Similar to the Altstadt Vienna, Albrecht also has a great affinity for art and culture. In 2017, Albrecht donated his collection of classical music records to Altstadt Vienna, which has grown over the years, as well as a considerable selection of non-fiction books and novels, which guests can now admire in Opera Suite #34 and Library Suite #35.
Inspired by one of Vienna's oldest cinemas, the Bellaria Kino, Room #86 has been currently redecorated. Including the retro floral wallpaper similar to the one found at the Bellaria, before it had to close temporarily about three years ago. Thanks to great neighborly commitment and a crowdfunding campaign, the curtains of the iconic movie theater will soon rise again.
