Ringdove-White, Danube-Tower-Grey and Augarten-Blue

The Viennese style as a conglomerate of various influences. Room #57, designed by interior designer Eugenie Arlt, captivates with its clever integration of elements from different design worlds. Besides furniture from Gubi or lamps from Louis Poulsen this room is a product of mainly Austrian producers and collaborators. Fabrics from renowned upholsterer Kohlmaier in Neubaugasse, wall paint from Gallery SO, a small paint manufacturer in Esterhazygasse. For Arlt, the uniqueness of Vienna reveals itself after looking at its details.

The walls, a composition of ringdove-white, danube-tower-grey and Augarten-blue, are a tribute to the many Viennese peculiarities. Often to be discovered only after longer observations. Just like the painting of German artist Daniel M. Thurau (*1974). Created during a stay in this exact room, it shows the view out of the window, onto the terrace underneath.
