From New York to Vienna

Hub of the music world, epicenter of opera and theater - Vienna is the dazzling capital for culture enthusiasts. The Opera Suite of the Altstadt Vienna is dedicated to those who enjoy the finer things in life. A record collection of over 1000 mainly classical LPs, which has grown over the years, as well as the iconic Lounge Chair by Ray and Charles Eames invite you to consciously enjoy music. Probably the most famous chandelier design of the 20th century, the Metropolitan Chandelier by the Viennese glass manufacturer Lobmeyr, transports one to the majestic rooms of the Metropolitan Opera in New York. Another masterpiece from the famed manufacture can be found in Helga's Room #21. Walnut wood surfaces and fabrics of dark gray, petrol, and light gray create a harmonious sense of space, which is topped off by a large-scale artwork by Vienna-based artist Elisa Alberti (b. 1992).
