Altstadt
Tour #84
Sari's Home
The cheerful Viennese home away from home was inhabited almost weekly by a close friend of the house many years ago. And even though the visits have become less frequent due to work-related reasons, the bright yellow suite still remains "Sari's Home" in Vienna. An oval marble table by Knoll and Eames Plastic Chairs by Vitra are arranged in front of a photograph by Nina Rike Springer (*1976). The latter has already inspired a guest to write a poem. The nude painting in the bedroom was created by artist Daniel Thurau (*1974) in Altstadt Vienna. A painting by Katharina Grosse (*1961) adorns the wall next to the bed.
Even more art reveals itself with a glance out the window. Visual artist David Leitner (*1961) painted a large mural on the opposite wall in 2020. The view of St. Ulrich's Church and the tiled rooftops is equally inspiring.
