Tour #30
Cubes. Checkerboards. Blocks.
Geometry at play – this was the vision Arthur Arbesser brought to life in Room #30.
The cube is the guiding motif. From the black-and-white glass cube bathroom crafted by Styrian manufactory Josef Göbel, to the deconstructed nightstands based on Arbesser’s own designs – the shape reappears like a rhythm throughout the room.

A custom carpet echoes the stairwells of old Viennese buildings. The Atrium sofa by Wittmann is composed of pure, simple blocks. Around the bed, crowned by the Themis headboard, a graphic border in the style of the Wiener Werkstätte unfolds as a wall fresco – art you live within.
Furnishing icons by Breuer, Perriand, and Kiesler complete the geometric composition. The palette remains intentionally restrained, with carefully placed highlights. What results is a clarity of form – turned into a playful, almost poetic experience. Including original artwork by Xenia Hausner.
